About Thompsons Garage

Thompsons Garage is a nightclub at 3 Patterson's Place in Belfast city centre and calls itself the city's longest running club, with more than 30 years of club nights. The venue spreads over three floors with four bars: a two-tiered main room with a Funktion-One sound system and an LED screen, the Attic, a self-contained VIP area with its own bar and balcony, and a two-floor open-air Terrace added in 2017. It holds 800 people. Thompsons is open seven nights a week, and each night has its own brand: Stereo Sessions, the club's long-running Saturday house night, Misfit for house, breaks and techno on Fridays, student nights such as Funkarama and FUBU midweek, and Musik Sundays with Gleave Dobbin. Past guests named by the club include MK, Nina Kraviz, Eats Everything, Alan Fitzpatrick, Erol Alkan and Gerd Janson.
