The Aksis Releases Independent Techno Single Quit It After Armada Debut
The Aksis, the techno project of Bloom Twins' Anna Kuprienko, releases Quit It independently via Vydia, a peak time track co-written with Wolf Cutt and her sister.
The Aksis, the techno alias of London based DJ and producer Anna Kuprienko, has released her new single “Quit It”. The track arrived on Friday 23 October 2026 and is out independently through Vydia on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer and SoundCloud, with an extended mix mastered for DJs.
It is her first release since “When I’m Low”, the August collaboration with Bloom Twins that came out on Armada. Where that record carried a vocal pop edge, “Quit It” goes straight for the peak of the night: driving, functional techno with a raw, high impact finish.
A track written to be screamed to
Kuprienko wrote “Quit It” with producer Wolf Cutt and her twin sister, the other half of Bloom Twins. She describes the record as a reaction against music that sits politely in the background. The story is a club scene told from the dancefloor, in her own words about “me, stealing the girls from the flashy-table guys at the club”.
“I wrote ‘Quit It’ as an antidote to background electronica. I didn’t want something you half-listen to in the background. This one is for screaming to, so play it loud.”

From Bloom Twins to the warehouse
The Aksis is Kuprienko’s solo techno project, separate from the sister duo that made her name. The alias joins “axis”, a point of direction and movement, with “sis”, a nod to a career spent working as a pair. Her sets lean on the same qualities as the single: intense, physical and built for dancing until the lights come on.
2026 has been a busy year on the road. Kuprienko holds a residency with FemmeFusion and has shared bills at Fantazia with Miss Monique, Eelke Kleijn, Klangphonics and Deer Jade. She opened for Lorenzo Raganzini at Eden in Thessaloniki, played MEKA Ritual Festival alongside NIKOLINA and 999999999, and took the project to Muse and Soho in Seoul. Further dates in Greece and Lisbon are keeping the momentum going.
