Sonder Festival (Tallarook, Australia) 2027

Sonder Festival returns for its fourth edition over the Easter weekend, from Friday 26 to Monday 29 March 2027, at Eagle Ridge Event Park in Tallarook, in the Victorian bushland north of Melbourne. The festival’s own site describes it as three days and three nights of dance music, and the official ticket page lists the gates opening at 12pm on the Friday, with the party running until 1am on the Monday.

The first names are already out. The 2027 line-up on the official site includes Bradley Zero, Egyptian Lover from the US, Gene On Earth with Wallace, Kenji Hina with Ned Bennett, Prizefight, Narciss, Mothafunk, IN2POL and Demi Riquísimo, plus a long list of live acts such as Alice Payne, Guy Contact, Pretty Girl, Poli-Pearl, Supa Kameleon and Jupita. Set times will be announced closer to the date.

Sonder calls itself a grassroots, independent festival built by young people from across the country, where the dancefloor is the focus. It asks for floors that are free of phones and full of people dancing. Four stages open at different times, from house and techno to bass, live drum and bass, punk, folk and workshops, and two of them are indoors with limited capacity, so arrive early for the sets you want to catch. The day starts early too: the Sonder Breakfast Show begins at 8am. The 2026 edition featured Tornado Wallace b2b Fantastic Man, LAMMER, DJ Luv You and Tomoki Tamura; earlier years brought Tinika, Main Phase and WOLTERS (2024) and Soju Gang and Narciss (2025).

Eagle Ridge is a regular stop on the Victorian bush calendar: Interstellar Groove takes over the same park from 30 October 2026, Pitch Music & Arts runs in Moyston from 5 March 2027 and Rainbow Spirit is in nearby Glenaroua the same month. Browse the full music festival calendar for more.
