Jasna 1, Smolna, Mastak, Transformator, Prozak 2.0 and Tama: the best techno clubs in Poland in 2026, checked in October, with door rules and autumn dates.

Updated: October 2026

The best techno clubs in Poland right now are Jasna 1 and Smolna in Warsaw, Transformator in Wrocław, Prozak 2.0 in Kraków and Tama in Poznań, with the tiny Mastak in Warsaw as the pick for vinyl heads. Two clubs from the first version of this guide have changed: Praga Centrum closed in May 2025, and NIEBO now runs mostly concerts and theme parties. Every club below was checked against its own website and its Resident Advisor listing in October 2026.

Is Jasna 1 still the best techno club in Warsaw?

For most visitors, yes. Jasna 1 sits at Jasna 1 in Śródmieście, a few minutes on foot from Nowy Świat, and Resident Advisor describes it as one of the largest clubs in Warsaw. The resident list reads like a map of Polish techno: VTSS, Rene Wise, Cyryl, Ola Teks, Kovvalsky and Błażej Malinowski among others. The club also leads European Gravity, a network of European venues.

The house rules are clear and worth reading before you queue. Entry is 18+ and ID can be checked. Jasna 1 runs a no-photo policy during club nights (Open Decks, SALON and outdoor events are the exceptions), bags are searched, there is no re-entry, and people who do not know the club’s principles “may be rejected at the door”. A presale ticket does not guarantee entry, but it is refunded if you are turned away. An awareness team in blue T-shirts works every weekend.

The autumn 2026 programme on the club’s own site includes Luigi Tozzi live (10 October), U.R.Trax and Irakli (16 October), a Halloween night with Miazmat on 31 October featuring Broken English Club live and Thomas P. Heckmann, 999999999 (6 November), FJAAK (7 November) and Freddy K (20 November).

What makes Smolna different?

Brick arches in the basement room of Smolna club at Smolna 38 in Warsaw

Smolna is the other half of Warsaw’s techno weekend. It opened in late 2016 in a pre-war tenement at Smolna 38, and the basement still carries traces of the Warsaw Uprising. Resident Advisor lists three dance floors, two outdoor areas, a chill-out room and three bars, with a capacity of 900. The club’s own site names its spaces Basement, Patio, Jungle and Hideout.

The sound is broader than Jasna 1: techno, house, melodic and experimental. Smolna has a no-photo rule, a zero-tolerance line on racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, and an awareness team you can reach by WhatsApp. In October 2026 it celebrates its 10th birthday over four nights: a secret guest and Azzecca (23 October), Enrico Sangiuliano and Alinka (24 October), Kaufmann (30 October) and Stan Christ with David Löhlein (31 October). November brings Âme live b2b Trikk (6 November), Cristobal Pesce (7 November), Somewhen (13 November) and Pan-Pot (20 November).

Which small Warsaw club do locals rate?

Mastak is a 100-capacity club inside one of the historic towers of the Poniatowski Bridge, at Solec 81B in Powiśle. It is also a record store and the home of the vinyl label Mastak Records, and it runs up to three parties a week. Expect label nights, deep and hypnotic techno and a crowd that comes for the records. Upcoming dates on Resident Advisor include FĀLĀ (9 October), a label night with Zakare (17 October) and NOKTURN with Inhaberin (7 November).

For a long Sunday, Luzztro at Aleje Jerozolimskie 6 calls itself the longest-running techno club in Warsaw and is built around afterparties.

Where do you go for techno in Wrocław?

Red lasers over the dance floor at Transformator club in Wrocław

Transformator is a post-industrial former factory at Tęczowa 57, west of the Old Town, with a capacity of 500. Its own site lists house, hard style, drum and bass, rave, techno and trance, plus concerts, so check the night before you go. The rules are short: “NO FUCKING FOTO”, selection at the door, and zero tolerance for harassment, racism, sexism and hate. Autumn dates on Resident Advisor include Nocne Dramy with GEST (24 October), two Halloween nights (30 and 31 October) and Hardnight with DarkMatter (7 November).

For straight techno, also look at Ciało at Joannitów 13, open Thursday to Saturday, with dates such as Ravedron x Feral (10 October) and OPUS x Heisss Berlin (17 October).

What are the best techno clubs in Kraków and Poznań?

In Kraków, Prozak 2.0 at plac Dominikański 6 in the Old Town has three dance floors, four bars and a Funktion-One sound system, with a capacity of 600. It has booked Roman Flügel, Marcel Dettmann and Dixon, and its October dates include Deas all night long (10 October) and two Halloween nights. Smaller options are Sekta Selekta in Kazimierz and STK47 Warehouse in Zabłocie.

In Poznań, Tama at Niezłomnych 2 is the big room: its main hall holds up to 900 people, and the building has a cocktail bar, a courtyard and the smaller SLOW Club. Dates this autumn include Chris Avantgarde (9 October), Anja Schneider at SLOW Club (24 October) and Âme live at Let’s Groove (7 November). SCHRON, a club in a 1945 concrete bunker, hosts Hiatus Festival with object blue on 6 November.

What happened to Praga Centrum and NIEBO?

Praga Centrum, the 1,000-capacity hall on Szwedzka street in Praga-Północ, closed in May 2025. The operators announced the end on 22 May 2025 after an eviction that followed a lost court case over the building, and Resident Advisor now marks the venue as closed. Its old domain no longer belongs to the club, so we have removed the link.

NIEBO at Nowy Świat 21c is still open, but its programme is now mostly concerts and theme parties, with only the odd electronic date such as Digitalism live (24 October). It is a good venue, just not a techno club any more, so it has left the top five.

What should you know before going clubbing in Poland?

  • Leave the phone in your pocket. Jasna 1, Smolna and Transformator all have a no-photo rule on club nights.
  • Expect a door. Jasna 1 and Transformator both say they select at the entrance. Arrive sober, in a small group, and know who is playing.
  • Bring ID. Entry is 18+ and clubs can check.
  • Buy on the club’s own links or Resident Advisor. Some old club domains now belong to unrelated sites, so do not trust a search result without checking the club’s Instagram or RA page.

What this guide does not cover

This is a techno guide, so it leaves out commercial clubs, rooftop bars and venues that only host concerts. We list a club only when we could check it on its own website or Resident Advisor in October 2026; Gdańsk, Szczecin and Łódź have scenes too, and you can browse every Polish club we track in our Poland club guide.
