About The Warehouse Project
The Warehouse Project is a seasonal series of club nights in Manchester, started in 2006 by Sacha Lord and Sam Kandel, who had both worked with the Sankeys club. The first season ran in the disused Boddingtons Brewery in Strangeways. Over the years it moved to a former air raid shelter under Piccadilly station on Store Street and to Victoria Warehouse in Trafford, and since 2019 it has been based at Depot Mayfield, a former railway depot beside Manchester Piccadilly station.
Each season runs from September to New Year's Day. Shows use several spaces, including the main Depot room, Concourse and Archive, and some nights are Concourse only with stickers placed over phone cameras. The programme mixes house, techno, drum and bass, bass music and live acts, with parties such as XXL techno, Eat Your Own Ears and Teletech. 2026 marks the series' 20th season, marked with the short film Twenty Years in Manchester.
Door policy
From the club's own rulesStrictly 18+ with a valid passport, driving licence or PASS hologram Citizen Card, and Challenge 25 applies at the bars. Everyone is searched, bags larger than A4 are refused and there is no re-entry. The dress code is casual but not scruffy, with no football shirts or face coverings.
