DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026 Results: Full List and Where Techno Finished
When the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026 results are announced, where Charlotte de Witte, Anyma, Indira Paganotto and Amelie Lens finished in 2025, and what to watch on the night. Updated live.
Updated 8 October 2026 with the full list. David Guetta is the World’s No. 1 DJ for a record sixth time. DJ Mag read out the Top 100 DJs 2026 results on Tuesday 6 October at [UNVRS] in Ibiza, and the techno column had its best night yet: Anyma climbed seven places to No. 3, Charlotte de Witte rose to No. 6 and kept the World’s No. 1 Techno DJ title, and Indira Paganotto broke into the top 30. Below is the full 1 to 100 list, every techno position with its movement, the new entries and the names that fell out.
Who is the No. 1 DJ in the world in 2026?
David Guetta. The French producer held off Martin Garrix for a second year running and now owns six titles, more than anyone in the poll’s history. Garrix and Armin van Buuren sit on five each. DJ Mag says the 2026 vote drew a record number of verified ballots from 234 territories, with the UK, France, Spain, Italy, the USA and China among the largest voting blocs. Guetta played a two hour closing set after the reveal, following sets from Lost Frequencies, Charlotte de Witte, Anyma, Korolova, Anastazja and a GORDO b2b Vintage Culture.

The only new face in the top 10 is Vintage Culture, up one to No. 10. Afrojack dropped seven places to No. 15 and made way. Alok and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike each slipped one place as Anyma leapfrogged both.
Where techno finished in the Top 100 DJs 2026
Two techno names inside the top six is new territory for this poll. Anyma at No. 3 is the highest a techno act has finished in years, and Charlotte de Witte at No. 6 betters her own 2025 breakthrough at No. 9. Indira Paganotto gained ten places to No. 26 and collected the first World’s No. 1 Psy DJ award. Reinier Zonneveld edged up to No. 21 and Carl Cox to No. 23, in his fourth decade on the list.
Further down, the melodic and progressive end did the climbing. Korolova and Miss Monique each gained 14 places, as did Solomun, who reached No. 41 a year after his 33 place jump. Lilly Palmer moved up eight to No. 49. The hard end lost ground: Amelie Lens fell nine to No. 47, Sara Landry slipped two to No. 64 despite winning the World’s No. 1 Hard DJ award, Deborah De Luca dropped 21 and Nico Moreno 15, and I Hate Models left the list altogether. The two techno debuts came from opposite ends of the room: Joseph Capriati at No. 68 and the Dutch acid and trance DJ KI/KI, who closes the poll at No. 100.

Highest climbers, new entries and the biggest falls
Three house names shared the Highest Climber award with 22 places each: John Summit to No. 24, Mau P to No. 55 and CHRIS STASSY, formerly Chris Stussy, to No. 59. GORDO gained 18 to No. 50, Fred again.. 17 to No. 16, and The Martinez Brothers 15 to No. 28.
DJ Mag counts 13 new entries and three re-entries. The highest debut is UK house DJ Josh Baker at No. 40, followed by Mahmut Orhan at No. 42, Ben Nicky at No. 66, Joseph Capriati at No. 68, Wade at No. 72, Shimza at No. 75, Padre Guilherme at No. 79, Sonny Fodera at No. 80, Cloonee at No. 84, Prospa at No. 94, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U at No. 95 and KI/KI at No. 100. Illenium (No. 30), Mosimann (No. 85) and MATTN (No. 92) return after a year out.
The biggest falls all came from the mainstage and trance side of the list: Vini Vici down 39 to No. 71, Quintino down 29 to No. 76, Above & Beyond down 26 to No. 87, Eric Prydz down 25 to No. 62, and DJ Snake down 20 to No. 60. Hardwell lost 14 places to No. 29, his first finish outside the top 20 since 2023.
Mahmut Orhan puts Türkiye in the Top 100
The debut that matters most from where we sit is Mahmut Orhan at No. 42. The Bursa born producer behind “Feel” spent 2026 on the biggest stages of his career, from a Coachella set to a free street party in London and a village festival at home that drew millions of views, and the vote followed. He lands two places behind the highest new entry. Two more Turkish names finished in DJ Mag’s next 50: Burak Yeter at No. 122 and Oguz at No. 149. For a scene that has mostly been counted in club nights rather than polls, three names in the top 150 is a marker.

Who missed the Top 100 in 2026
Every new entry and re-entry pushes someone out, and the only techno name to lose its place this year is I Hate Models, a debut at No. 79 in 2025 who finished No. 106. Kaaze (No. 102), Chris Lake (No. 108), Meduza (No. 113), NERVO (No. 116) and Topic (No. 126) also slipped from the 2025 list into DJ Mag’s next 50, while Fedde Le Grand and Fantasm fell outside the top 150. The rest of the techno bench is waiting just below the line: Marco Carola at No. 117, Mathame at No. 123, Adriatique at No. 129, 999999999 at No. 133, Klangkuenstler at No. 137, Adam Beyer at No. 141 and Anfisa Letyago at No. 145.

The TA view
We said in September that 2026 would show whether the crowds that filled techno stages all summer would bother to vote. They did. A techno act at No. 3, the genre’s No. 1 inside the top six, a psy techno name in the top 30 and melodic names climbing by double digits is not a token presence any more. The warning sign is at the hard end: Amelie Lens, Sara Landry, Deborah De Luca and Nico Moreno all fell, and I Hate Models is out. The fastest rooms in Europe have not yet turned into votes. The mainstage still owns the top two, and it will next year too, but the middle of this list now sounds like a club.
