Run Away Festival Halloween (Chelmsford, United Kingdom) 2026

Run Away Festival brings its Halloween edition to Chelmsford City Racecourse on Saturday 31 October 2026, a daytime event running from midday until 10.30pm, with a second day following on Sunday 1 November. The racecourse at Great Leighs sits in the Essex countryside north of Chelmsford and has become one of the regular outdoor sites for the county’s dance events.

The booking sits in house and minimal, which is where Run Away has worked since it started, building a following in Essex around daytime outdoor parties rather than late night club shows. The line up for the 2026 Halloween edition had not been announced at the time of writing.

Tickets are 39 pounds and entry is 18 and over, with sales through Resident Advisor and the festival’s own site. Chelmsford is around 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street by train, with the racecourse a short drive from the station, which makes the event an easy day trip from the capital. Stansted is 30 minutes away by road. For an Essex music festival at Halloween, it is the one that keeps it in daylight.
