About Home The Venue
Home The Venue is a purpose-built nightclub on Cockle Bay Wharf in Darling Harbour, Sydney, at 101 Wheat Road. It opened on 13 November 1998, founded by Antonio Zambarelli, Paul Collings, George Swanson and Ron McCulloch of Big Beat Australia, as the Sydney half of the Home brand that also ran a club in London. Ron McCulloch designed the interior. DJ Mag describes a three-level club with a capacity of 2,500, and its rooms and rooftop terrace open together for full-venue parties.
The programme is broad. Homemade Saturdays mixes house, party anthems, RnB, hip-hop and EDM across four rooms every week. Sublime, the Friday night brand that moved to Home from Pitt Street in the early 2000s, marks 30 years in 2026. S.A.S.H runs Sunday and long-weekend house parties, Morning Glory holds sunrise sessions on the rooftop, and touring artists play live shows. Home was in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs in 2019, 2023 and 2024.
