About ivy

ivy is a large multi-level venue at 320-330 George Street in the Sydney CBD, built as a flagship for the Merivale hospitality group. After a seven-year build it had a soft launch in December 2007 and moved into full operation in early 2008, with restaurants, bars, lounges, a terrace and a rooftop pool alongside its club spaces.

The venue runs a d&b audiotechnik sound system, and DJ Mag describes it as a large open-air club with big production. Its flagship Saturday party ABOVE focuses on disco, house and techno and has booked Hugel, Miss Monique, Arielle Free, Chris Stussy and Solardo, with GUDFELLA and TSHA on the late 2026 schedule. Lost Sundays by Finely Tuned runs day-to-night parties across several stages, and ivy also hosts touring brands such as Terminal V, All Day I Dream and Defected. Local Australian DJs are booked alongside the international names. ivy entered DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs at number 92 in 2026.
