About Brown Alley
Brown Alley is a multi-level nightclub at 240 King Street in the Melbourne CBD. It sits on the King Street strip, which became the city's main nightclub district from the 1980s. The club says it has run for more than 20 years and has four spaces, each with its own sound system: the Main Room and the smaller Blights Bar use d&b audiotechnik systems, and the Garden Bar, an open-air smoking terrace, runs Funktion-One. It hosts weekly promoter nights, with NERVE on Fridays focused on hard techno and hard bounce and LEVELS on Saturdays, alongside international bookings such as Oliver Huntemann in August 2026 and Airwolf Paradise with Ferreck Dawn in September 2026.
