About Neck of the Woods

Neck of the Woods is a bar, live music venue and gallery space at 155b Karangahape Road in Auckland, on the K Road strip. It opened in 2015 and runs a mixed programme of club nights, live shows and touring DJs, with late events usually going from 10pm to 4am. The October to December 2026 calendar includes GENA, Broad Spectrum Micro III, SECT, the Gloomy Bear Rave, the Sudaka Latin Halloween Bloc Fest and a house set from French producer Malaa on 6 November. Art is part of the venue's identity: its monthly local artist programme pairs an Auckland illustrator or designer with the venue on poster artwork and limited edition stickers. A Safe & Sound policy, backed by bar staff and security, sets out zero tolerance for harassment and abusive behaviour.
