Kindheitstraum Festival (Speichersdorf, Germany) 2027

Kindheitstraum Festival holds its final edition at the Speichersdorf airfield on 26 June 2027, closing a run of fifteen summers in northern Bavaria. The organisers have capped the last event at 3,999 tickets and framed it as a farewell rather than a pause, with the line announced plainly on the festival website: one last time, the dream flies.

The programme covers techno, house and melodic techno across the airfield site, which has given the festival its character for most of its life. The flat open ground allows a main stage with a long sight line and smaller floors around it, and the limited capacity keeps the event closer to a large open air party than a commercial festival.

Tickets are sold through the festival website and the restricted allocation means the final edition is likely to sell out well before the summer. Speichersdorf lies between Bayreuth and Weiden in the Upper Palatinate, around 30 minutes from Bayreuth by road and under two hours from Nuremberg, so anyone who wants to catch the last run of this music festival should plan travel early.
