RÜFÜS DU SOL Tour Gross Hits $158 Million: The Highest-Grossing Electronic Tour Ever

RÜFÜS DU SOL have closed the Inhale/Exhale World Tour with numbers that rewrite the dance music record book. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, the Australian trio grossed $158 million and sold 1.7 million tickets across an 18-month run that ended at a sold-out Rogers Centre in Toronto on 5 September 2026.

That makes Inhale/Exhale the highest-grossing electronic tour of all time, and the first in the genre to pass $100 million and one million tickets.

The gap is the story. ODESZA held the previous benchmark with The Last Goodbye Tour, which took $56.3 million from 801,000 tickets between 2022 and 2024. Inhale/Exhale earned close to three times that, and it now sits above the entire Boxscore careers of Illenium ($88.3 million) and ODESZA ($75.4 million).

The 98 shows reported to Boxscore split into 54 in the US and Canada, 21 in Europe, 13 in Oceania and 10 in Latin America. The final North American leg alone brought in $71.8 million from 693,000 tickets over 31 dates. The single biggest night was Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros ($6.5 million, 64,400 tickets), followed by the Toronto finale ($4.9 million, 43,500) and Boulder’s Folsom Field ($4.8 million, 45,700). Four straight sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden became the largest electronic headline run in the arena’s history.

Across their career, RÜFÜS DU SOL now stand at $173.7 million and 1.9 million tickets, ahead of Tiësto’s 1.3 million in attendance.

Stadium production, crew, freight and promoter splits all come out of that $158 million before anything reaches the band.
