Fat Sams is a nightclub and live music venue at 31 South Ward Road in Dundee city centre, a few hundred yards from Dundee's Tay Bridge station. Its Skiddle listing describes a multi-roomed venue over three floors, with a lift to every floor. The venue has a long history as a gig stop: Biffy Clyro, Lewis Capaldi, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini, Manic Street Preachers, Amy Macdonald, Bastille, Yungblud and The View are among the acts that have played there.
