About XOYO
XOYO is a club at 32-37 Cowper Street, near Old Street station in the London Borough of Islington, set in a converted print works. It opened in September 2010, and The Columbo Group bought and renovated it in 2012. The club later built its programme around DJ residencies, the first held by Eats Everything. The entertainment company TEG MJR ran XOYO from 2021 until late 2025, when it was acquired by Propaganda Independent Venues. A two-month refurbishment brought a new Void sound system and a full redesign of both rooms, and the club reopened on 31 January 2026 under the line Back to the Underground.
The Basement is the main room, holding 600 people under 350 pixel tubes and six LED cubes. The Jungle on the ground floor holds 300 and has a video wall and its own Void system. The 2026 programme mixes house nights, drum and bass all-dayers, a weekly Thursday party, live concerts and themed shows.
