About
NDK Festival returns to Caen for its sixth edition, running from 7 to 11 October 2026 across several venues in the Normandy city. Le Cargö, the city’s contemporary music hall, hosts the bulk of the programme, with the neighbouring Magic Mirrors and the Maison de l’Étudiant on the Campus 1 site of the University of Caen Normandy taking the daytime strands. The 2026 edition carries the tagline “A stellar ride with you” and spreads five days of club nights, live sets, workshops and talks across the city.
The club programme is built around two main nights at Le Cargö. NDK Night 1 on 9 October is led by Berlin’s Ellen Allien, joined by Caiva, GTI, b3bz, Cholitx, Digé M0m0, LAZE b2b LEGIT GIRL DJ, nextdimensional, NHM & LABN and s8jfou. NDK Night 2 on 10 October brings Gabber Eleganza b2b Vilain, Andy Garvey, Akira, MA RI, Nurse Erica, Papa Nugs, Paula Tape, Paul Seul & Krampf and Vel. A free opening night on 8 October at the Magic Mirrors features Borokov Borokov, DJ Travella, Antilogic, DJ Startup and NE2L, with Holeteeth playing the NDK Campus date on the university site the day before.
NDK bills itself as a festival of electronic cultures rather than a straight music festival. The week opens with academic and professional meetings, masterclasses and workshops, and it runs a children’s strand called NDKids, where Le Son Vert presents “Rave de Gosses” at the Magic Mirrors on 7 October. Tickets are sold through the festival’s own box office and at Le Cargö’s counter in Caen, with reduced rates for students, jobseekers and people receiving the RSA benefit. The venue also accepts the Pass Culture, Atouts Normandie and Chèque-Vacances schemes.
