About Djoon

Djoon is a house music club at 22 Boulevard Vincent Auriol in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, beside the elevated section of metro line 6 near Quai de la Gare. It opened in 2003 and is run by Afshin Assadian, with his son Adrien now helping on the programming. The loft space has large windows onto the overground metro, a fresco on the ceiling and a sunken dancefloor ringed by seating. Djoon calls itself a soulful club, and its nights centre on soulful, afro and deep house alongside disco and soul, drawing on New York, Chicago and Detroit traditions. Glenn Underground, Theo Parrish, Osunlade and Delano Smith are among the DJs who have played there, and the club films and publishes DJ sets on its YouTube channel. Recent nights include The Djoon Experience with Afshin and Kapela all night long on 19 September 2026.
