Isulia Festival (Bordeaux, France) 2026

Isulia Festival runs from 5 to 7 November 2026 at the Base sous-marine in Bordeaux, three days built in equal parts from electronic music, talks and immersive experiences. The venue is a Second World War submarine pen, 42,000 tonnes of concrete that the city has converted into a cultural space, and it gives the festival an acoustic and a scale that few indoor rooms in France can match.

Two stages run inside the single building, so the programme stays in one place across the weekend rather than spreading across the city. The organisers frame it around three verbs, dance, think and explore, with the talks programme and the installations treated as part of the ticket rather than as a side attraction. A tremplin competition gives emerging artists a slot on the bill.

Tickets are sold through Shotgun. The Base sous-marine sits in the Bacalan district in the north of Bordeaux, served by tram line B and a short distance from the Cite du Vin, with Bordeaux-Merignac airport 25 minutes away and Paris two hours by train.
