Earth Frequency Festival (Woodford, Australia) 2026

Earth Frequency Festival returns to Woodfordia from 23 to 26 October 2026 for its twenty first edition, four days in the foothills of the Moreton Bay hinterland an hour north of Brisbane. It is the longest running electronic music festival in Queensland, grown from a small landcare party more than two decades ago into one of Australia’s leading independent cultural events.

The programme draws on doof, rave, tribal gathering and transformational festival culture without settling into any of them, running electronic and live music alongside performance, visionary art and installations. Named areas carry the rest: Frequency Village for markets and community, the Luminarium for art, and The Crib as a dedicated family and kids space, with workshops, wellness and food running through the site.

Woodfordia is the permanent cultural parkland built for the Woodford Folk Festival, which gives Earth Frequency infrastructure that most Australian outdoor events have to build from scratch. Tickets are sold through Humanitix and deluxe camping had already sold out at the time of writing, with volunteer applications still open and an official festival app carrying the programme. Brisbane airport is around 90 minutes away. It is the Queensland music festival with the deepest roots.
