About Rainbow Disco Club
Rainbow Disco Club runs from 16 to 18 April 2027 at the Higashi-Izu Cross Country Course in Shizuoka, three days on the Izu peninsula south west of Tokyo. The site is a cross country ski and running course in the hills above the Pacific, which gives the festival open ground and sea views.
RDC has become the most internationally respected Japanese dance festival, booking the kind of international names that mostly skip the country while keeping a crowd that treats the camping weekend as an annual fixture. Ticket categories sell out in sequence, with the later tiers at 27,000 and 28,000 yen.
Tickets are sold through Zaiko, and the organisers run an official bus tour from Tokyo. Higashi-Izu is around two and a half hours from Tokyo by train and road, with the Izu Kyuko line running down the east coast of the peninsula. Mid April on Izu is mild at around 18 degrees. For a Japanese outdoor music festival, Rainbow Disco Club is the one with the international reputation.
