PROX (Oiso (Kanagawa), Japan) 2026

PROX runs at DAN OISO in Oiso, Kanagawa on Saturday 7 November 2026, a one day music and camping event on a hillside above the coast an hour from Tokyo. Gates open at midday, the programme starts at 3pm and the night runs through to 5am on the Sunday morning.

The structure is unusual and worth understanding before buying. A day trip ticket covers 3pm to 11pm, when the daytime programme ends. A night ticket allows entry from 9pm, with the night programme running from 11pm to 5am. Overnight camping is included with every ticket type, and campers need to pack down and leave by noon on 8 November. The site runs live sets, DJs, food, art and the landscape itself as part of the offer.

The organisers describe the point of it as staying in one place from afternoon until morning rather than watching a show and going home, which is why the camping is built into every ticket rather than sold as an extra. Hugen opens the daytime programme on the electronic and alternative side. Direct trains from Shibuya and Shinjuku reach Oiso in 60 to 75 minutes, which makes it one of the easiest Japanese outdoor events to reach from central Tokyo. It is the Kanagawa music festival that gets the format right.
