About WOMB

WOMB opened in 2000 in Maruyamacho, in the centre of Shibuya. The building spreads over four floors. The main floor rises as an open atrium from the second to the fourth level, with sub-floors on the first and fourth floors and a premium lounge on the third floor overlooking the dancefloor. The club describes its sound system as sourced from New York, paired with LED screen visuals. Programming mixes international headliners with the artists driving Tokyo's own scene, with techno and tech house at its core and all-night sets by names such as DJ Nobu. Late-night events usually run from 11pm, and guests under 20 are not admitted.
