About VENT

VENT is a techno and house club in the basement of the Festae Omotesando Building at 3-18-19 Minami-Aoyama, in Tokyo's Minato ward. It opened in 2016 with a two-day launch party whose first night featured Ata, the director of Frankfurt's Robert Johnson. The club describes itself as a techno and house specialist and is built around its sound system: flat-panel SR speakers with aluminium honeycomb drivers made by the Japanese audio company TAGUCHI, in a room designed with acoustic panels to keep reverberation low. There are two rooms, with the international guest and a support DJ in Room 1 and local DJs and party series in Room 2. Past guests named by the club include Dixon, Jeff Mills, Chris Liebing, Gerd Janson, Henrik Schwarz and Talaboman, and the October 2026 programme brings Efdemin, John Talabot, Ata and Petar Dundov.
