About UNIT

UNIT is a live music venue and club in Daikanyama, Tokyo, two minutes on foot from Daikanyama station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. It opened in July 2004 and is run by TYPE2, LTD. The main room sits on the B2 floor of the Za House building and holds 500 standing, with a wooden dancefloor, a 5.1 metre ceiling and a d&b audiotechnik KSL8 line array. Below it, SALOON on B3 is a 100 capacity DJ bar with a high ceiling and a chandelier over the dancefloor, and the building also houses the B1FLAT rental space and the UNICE cafe. Most nights are concerts, while all-night club events use UNIT and SALOON together, such as UP YA ARCHIVES x attic with Nia Archives in September 2026.
