About Airpark Festival
Airpark Festival returns to the Airpark at Karlsruhe Baden-Baden on 19 June 2027, a techno festival on a working airport. The organisers put it in four words: techno between jet planes. The event runs both indoor and outdoor across one plus two stages and draws over 6,000 people.
Baden Airpark is the converted Canadian air base at Rheinmunster that now serves as Karlsruhe Baden-Baden airport, which gives the festival aprons, hangars and taxiways rather than a field. Felix Kroecher, Torsten Kanzler and Pappenheimer have all played there.
Limited blind tickets go on sale first through the festival’s own ticket shop. Rheinmunster is 30 minutes from Baden-Baden and 45 from Karlsruhe by road, with Strasbourg an hour across the Rhine in France. Mid June in Baden is warm at around 22 degrees. For a German airport music festival, Airpark is the literal one.
