About Lakes Festival
Lakes Festival returns to the Entertainment Triangle in North Hagley Park, Christchurch on Monday 28 December 2026, running ten hours from 12.30pm. Cream and Endeavour Live present it, and the organisers pitch it as a boutique premium event in one of the most striking locations in New Zealand.
The bill is substantial for a single day. Netsky from Belgium, Armand Van Helden, Mall Grab and Oppidan from Australia, X Club., Break, Dean Turnley and DJ Zinc from the United Kingdom all play, with Ladi6, Lens, Rova, Sin and Brook Antz, Clova, Chole back to back with Jordun, Dons, Emilie, Grella, Hunter, Keepsakes, RYDR, SUEDE, The Rat and Yancey from the New Zealand and regional circuit. Racket Club run takeovers with Eurofreq, Hang The Saints and Haven.
General admission at the third release is 189 New Zealand dollars with the first two releases sold out, group passes for four or more at 194 and a Lakes Lounge add on at 179. Entry is 18 and over and tickets are sold through Moshtix. North Hagley Park sits in central Christchurch, walkable from the city. For a New Zealand music festival in the holiday week, this bill is the strongest in the South Island.
