Gates to Xibalba (Dale, TX, United States) 2026

Gates to Xibalba runs at Dale in Texas from 30 October to 1 November 2026, a three day gathering staged by the Dimensional Mayan Tribe collective and subtitled Dance of the Ancestors. The framing is explicit: a journey into Xibalba, the Mayan underworld, timed to fall across Halloween and the Day of the Dead, with ceremony built into the programme alongside the music.

Two stages run psytrance and what the organisers describe as multigenre frequencies, with camping across the full three days on an open air site. The collective’s roster gives a sense of the booking: Chekz, Cyberattack from Denver, Golemtek, Psytopus of Sun Portal and Reptilian Records, Mai Gao from Houston, Luna Haze, Solar Spirit, Spiralmynd, Yatra and Zymphonik Chaos among others, drawn largely from Texas and Mexico.

Dimensional Mayan Tribe describes itself as a collective of artists, musicians and creatives exploring the intersection of psychedelia, technology and creativity, and runs several events a year including the Ilumina pop up gathering in September. Tickets and the full programme are published through the collective’s own site. Dale sits in Caldwell County around 40 minutes south east of Austin. For Texan psytrance at Halloween, it is the music festival with the clearest identity.
