About Exchange LA
Exchange LA is a nightclub in the former Los Angeles Stock Exchange building at 618 South Spring Street, in the Historic Core of downtown Los Angeles. The Moderne style building opened in 1931 as the headquarters of the Los Angeles Stock Exchange, later the Pacific Stock Exchange, and is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. After the exchange moved out in 1986 it housed nightclubs, and following a renovation of nearly two years Exchange LA opened in 2010.
The club covers about 25,000 square feet over four floors, with balconies around the old trading floor, several rooms, seven bars and a large LED screen across four storeys. Weekends bring touring DJs across EDM, trance, techno and house, often in 360 degree formats, plus the Mutate techno series; autumn 2026 bookings include Anfisa Letyago, Massano, Dimitri Vegas and Dillon Francis. Entry is 21+ with a dress code, and the building is also rented for events and film shoots.
Door policy
From the club's own rules21+ only, with a valid physical ID; foreign IDs and passports are accepted if they show a photo, name and date of birth in English. A dress code is enforced: no sandals or flip-flops, no tank tops, no sportswear such as jerseys, and no shorts outside the summer months. Bags larger than 12 x 12 x 6 inches and hydration packs are not allowed.
