Nood Ranch Campout (Kramer Junction, CA, United States) 2026

Nood Ranch Campout runs at Kramer Junction in the Mojave Desert from 15 to 18 October 2026, staged by the Los Angeles collective Noodle House Music. The organisers describe it as a celebration of music, art, community and unrelenting feral silliness, which sets the tone fairly accurately for an event that sits a long way from the commercial American festival circuit.

The format is a desert campout rather than a production heavy festival: a small site, a DJ programme running across the days and nights, art and installation work built by the people attending, and camping included with the ticket. Kramer Junction is a crossroads settlement at the meeting of Highways 58 and 395, surrounded by open desert and solar fields, which gives the site the isolation the format needs.

Tickets are sold through Tixfox, with the ticket covering entry and camping for the full run. The junction sits around two hours north east of Los Angeles and 90 minutes from Bakersfield, with no services beyond the crossroads itself, so water, food and fuel need planning in advance. Nights in the Mojave in October drop sharply. For a desert music festival built by its own crowd, it is a small and specific proposition.
