Unsound (Krakow, Poland) 2026

Unsound is an international festival of experimental and electronic music, art and ideas, founded in Kraków, Poland. The 2026 edition, titled Warszawa-Kraków, began in Warsaw on October 2 and moves to Kraków for the final days, with the Kraków part running from October 8 to 11, 2026. The festival’s theme this year is Soft Power.

The programme mixes live performances, club nights and a discourse strand of talks and presentations. Warsaw hosts shows at Dance Pavilion and a soft launch party at Jasna 1, while Kraków is anchored by a festival office at Pałac Krzysztofory on the main square and a late night club programme at Hotel Forum. A special train programme, Unsound Train, links the two cities with live performances, DJ sets and a collective walk and concert in Kielce.

The line-up spans experimental electronics, club music, ambient and contemporary composition. Announced acts include Arca, Actress, Tim Hecker, Diamanda Galas, Juliana Huxtable, Kode9, Lorenzo Senni, Marina Herlop, Errorsmith, Donato Dozzy, Mica Levi, Space Afrika and L’Rain, along with a WARP presents show by the Providenza Ensemble with Sinfonietta Cracovia. At the time of writing, the full Warszawa-Kraków pass, the Warszawa pass and the Kraków pass are sold out, and a Club Pass covering three club nights from October 8 to 10 in Kraków is on sale at 390 zloty, with a student discount. Passes can be exchanged at the Kraków festival office on October 8 and 9 between noon and 6:00 PM. Unsound also stages editions in other cities, including London and New York in 2026.
