About The Concourse Project
The Concourse Project is an indoor and outdoor music venue at 8509 Burleson Road in southeast Austin, near the airport south terminal. It opened in September 2021 in a former warehouse and was created by Kelly Gray and Andrew Parsons of the promoter RealMusic Events with partner David Brinkley. The modular building has a main hall of more than 18,000 square feet, an upstairs mezzanine, two outdoor patios and an adjacent field on a site of about 15 acres.
Most shows run in the main hall for about 2,000 people, with larger outdoor shows and the three-stage Seismic Dance Event festival each autumn. Bookings cover house, tech house, techno and bass music, with recent nights from MK, Shiba San, Matroda and Four Tet, and official ACL Fest Nights shows. The venue publishes full recorded sets from its nights on its own YouTube channel.
Door policy
From the club's own rulesMost shows are 18+ or 21+ as stated on each listing, and under-age guests cannot enter even with a guardian. There are no ins and outs, outside water is not allowed (free water jugs inside), and tickets are not released at the door once a show sells out. The venue is cashless.
