Dubstation Massacre (Waukegan, IL, United States) 2026

Dubstation Massacre runs at Waukegan in Illinois from 29 to 31 October 2026, three days of bass music over Halloween on the shore of Lake Michigan north of Chicago. The event has grown through the midwest dubstep circuit and holds a slot in the calendar that few American festivals attempt: an outdoor weekend at the end of October, when the lakeside weather is already turning.

The programme covers dubstep, riddim and the heavier end of bass music, with the organisers building the Halloween theming into the production and the crowd arriving in costume. A Road to Dubstation Massacre series of warm up shows runs in the months before, including dates as far afield as Montreal, which gives a sense of the reach the event has built.

Tickets are sold through The Ticketing, with camping and site information published through the festival’s Facebook page. Waukegan sits around an hour north of central Chicago on the Union Pacific North line, with O’Hare the nearest major airport at 45 minutes. The 2026 line up was being announced through the promoter’s channels at the time of writing. For midwest bass music at Halloween, it is the music festival that owns the weekend.
