Public Works is a nightclub and event space at 161 Erie Street, between 14th Street and Division Street, in San Francisco's Mission District. The club says it was shaped by asking the community what it wanted from a club, and it runs a Funktion-One sound system over a sprung hardwood dancefloor, with a main room and a second room called the Loft. The programme mixes international DJs with local crews: October 2026 dates include Mind Against playing all night, JANTSEN, FJAAK with Hiroko Yamamura, Skream, Metalheadz with Goldie and Photek, and 25 years of the Roam party. Comedy, The Moth story slams and art events fill other nights. The PW Union membership, from USD 8 a month, gives free tickets, drink discounts and priority entry.
