About 1015 Folsom

1015 Folsom is a dance club and live music venue at 1015 Folsom Street in San Francisco's SoMa district. The building once housed a bathhouse; Ira Sandler took over its club operation in 1986 as Das Klub and adopted the 1015 Folsom name in 1989. The venue covers about 20,000 square feet with five rooms, holding about 1,500 people in total and 800 in the main room; named spaces include the Main Room, Front Room, Gold Room, Klub Room and Lin Lounge. JK Sound supplies its d&b audiotechnik system, upgraded with A-Series and V-Series speakers in 2025. The programme runs from house and tech house to drum and bass and trance, with touring names such as Eli & Fur and Andy C, while PURA Saturdays bring reggaeton and hip-hop to four rooms across three levels.
