Top 100 DJs 2026: Who Will Be the Number 1 DJ on 6 October?
DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026 voting has closed and the results land at [UNVRS] Ibiza on 6 October. Guetta, Garrix or Armin could become the first six-time No. 1.
The ballots are in. Voting for DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2026 closed at 23:59 GMT on 16 September, and the results will be read out live at [UNVRS] Ibiza on Tuesday 6 October. For the first time in the poll’s 33 years, the night could crown a six-time winner.
That is the real story of 2026. David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren all sit on five titles, and since 2020 the crown has only ever gone to Guetta or Garrix. Whoever wins the number 1 DJ 2026 title writes a new line in the record book.
The race for the number 1 DJ in 2026
Guetta took back the top spot in 2025, with Garrix one place behind and Alok finally breaking into the top three after four years at No. 4. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (No. 4) and Armin (No. 5) complete the chasing pack. Our read: the title stays a Guetta versus Garrix duel, with Alok the only realistic outsider. If the pattern of trading years holds, Garrix has the edge.
Where techno could land
- No. 1 Techno DJ: Charlotte de Witte has won it six years running and sat at No. 9 overall in 2025. She also plays the ceremony, alongside Lost Frequencies, Vintage Culture, GORDO, ANASTAZJA and Korolova.
- Top techno position: Anyma finished one place behind her at No. 10. That gap is the tightest battle in the genre.
- No. 1 Hard DJ: Sara Landry holds the title after climbing 13 places to No. 62, while Indira Paganotto climbed 13 to No. 36. Expect both to rise again.
- Other crowns: FISHER defends House, Armin defends Trance and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike defend DJ Group, with Keinemusik (up 15 to No. 20) worth watching.
The Techno Airlines view: the No. 1 headline will go to the mainstage, as it always does. The more telling number is how many techno and hard techno names sit inside the top 50 when the list lands on 6 October. Last year techno names climbed almost across the board, and the harder end of the club is still rising.
