[UNVRS] Voted World’s No.1 Club: Ibiza’s Hyperclub Debuts at the Top of DJ Mag’s 2026 Poll

For twenty years, no venue had ever entered DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs poll straight at number one. [UNVRS] just did it. Barely twelve months after opening in Ibiza, the space billed as the world’s first hyperclub has been voted the number 1 club on the planet for 2026, the highest new entry the poll has ever recorded.

The result reads less like an upset and more like a coronation for The Night League, the Ibiza operator behind [UNVRS]. Three of the five best clubs in the world now belong to one company: [UNVRS] at one, Ushuaia at three and Hi Ibiza at four. Only Brazil’s Green Valley, a five-time poll winner, broke the run, holding second place as the established institution among the newcomers.

The venue itself was built for exactly this kind of statement. The 4,000-capacity room rises on the site of the old Privilege, once the largest club in the world, and trades that history for arena-scale production: a domed main space, immersive light rigs and a debut season of residencies from Eric Prydz, Anyma, Carl Cox and David Guetta. The wider table tells a familiar story. Ibiza dominates the summit while Berlin’s Berghain slid to 21st in the same Top 100 Clubs list, and the balance keeps tilting toward big-room spectacle over intimate underground rooms. Our take: a brand-new club topping a two-decade poll in year one is genuinely rare, and [UNVRS] earned the spotlight with a bold, expensive bet on scale. Still, a chart that rewards production budgets and marketing reach will always read differently from the dancefloors that actually shape the music. [UNVRS] is the story of 2026. The clubs that quietly define the next sound rarely trend.
