Funk Tribu: Voodoo
Funk Tribu: VoodooFunk Tribu keeps to the trance-rooted, peak-time sound that built his following, with a driving kick pattern and a topline made to stick, as EDMTunes put it. “Voodoo” is out on his own label TRIBE. You can catch the Colombia-born, Berlin-based producer at RSO.BERLIN on 6 November, Gate Milano on 13 November and A State Of Trance at Drumsheds on 14 November.
2. Tonic Walter: Turn Into Light
Tonic Walter: Turn Into Light“Turn Into Light” comes from II, the second album from the melodic house and techno duo, out on 30 October. Their tour listings describe it as darker than their debut, It All Comes Together. The II tour reaches Hamburg on 26 November and Melkweg in Amsterdam on 12 December.
3. Space 92 and Amber Broos: Disconnection
Space 92 and Amber Broos: DisconnectionFrench producer Space 92 and Belgian DJ Amber Broos team up on TAKEOFF, with a three-minute version and a 4:50 extended mix. It was at number 33 in Beatport’s Techno (Peak Time / Driving) chart on 1 November. Space 92 plays Nordstern in Basel on 14 November, and Amber Broos plays there on 7 November.
4. Joseph Capriati: Saudade
Joseph Capriati: SaudadeThe Caserta-born DJ returns with a single on Saved Records, available as a three-minute edit and a 6:31 extended mix for the clubs. His next dates include FOMO on 14 November and Womb in Tokyo on 22 November.
5. Maceo Plex: Supasonic
Maceo Plex: SupasonicA driving progressive techno cut with warped vocals and grinding drums, in the words of We Rave You, from a two-track single with “Closer” on his own Lone Romantic. Maceo Plex plays FuturFestival Mexico on 13 November and Time Warp Mexico on 20 November.
