    About

From August 14 to 17, 2025, We Out Here Festival returns to the picturesque grounds of St Giles House in Wimborne St Giles, Dorset, for another immersive celebration of music, culture, and community. Spanning four days, this gathering brings together a carefully curated mix of live acts and DJs, drawing from jazz, soul, broken beat, house, drum and bass, and global rhythms. With a lineup of over 80 artists, the 2025 edition continues the music festival’s tradition of blending musical heritage with cutting-edge talent.

Last year’s highlights included Michael Kiwanuka, Rotary Connection 222, and Theo Parrish’s legendary eight-hour set. This year promises another wide-ranging showcase, with live performances from NoName, Kokoroko, Pa Salieu, Horace Andy, Emma-Jean Thackray, and Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou, among others. Pioneering DJs such as Ben UFO B2B Josey Rebelle, Hunee, Objekt, and Batu will join legends like Francois K, Natasha Diggs, Osunlade, and Horse Meat Disco. Drum and bass royalty—Roni Size, DJ Marky, Krust, and DJ Die—are set to return, ensuring late-night stages are packed with energy.

Beyond the music, We Out Here offers a deeper, holistic experience. Yoga, talks, children’s activities, and local food vendors contribute to a mindful and inclusive environment. Collectives like Anti Social Jazz Club, So Flute, and Bristol Northern Soul curate stage takeovers, while soundsystems including Aba Shanti-I and Channel One keep the roots alive.

Set against a backdrop of natural beauty and historic charm, We Out Here 2025 stands as a testament to the power of community-driven programming. It’s not just a festival—it’s a meeting point for dancers, diggers, and dreamers. Whether you’re discovering new sounds or reconnecting with old favorites, Dorset in August promises a truly special gathering.
