Get Freaky Festival (Magna, UT, United States) 2026

Get Freaky returns to The Saltair in Magna from 23 to 25 October 2026, the Halloween weekend fixture of the Utah electronic calendar. The venue sits on the southern shore of the Great Salt Lake, a domed concert hall on an otherwise empty stretch of flats, and it has hosted the festival for over a decade under promoter V2 Presents and parent company MASV Music Group.

The programming covers bass music, dubstep and main stage EDM, with costume culture running through the whole weekend given the date. MASV runs several festivals at the same venue through the year, including Get Lucky, Get Funky, Das Energi and Transmit, and applies a single set of entry rules across all of them.

Those rules are strict. A clear bag policy limits each attendee to one bag in plastic, vinyl or PVC no larger than 16 by 6 by 12 inches. Backpacks, totems, flagpoles, inflatables, headdresses, pacifiers, glowsticks, selfie sticks, GoPros, lawn furniture and laser pointers are all prohibited, and large plushies are out though keychain sized ones are fine. Shuttles and travel packages are sold alongside tickets through Tixr. Salt Lake City airport is 20 minutes away. It is the Utah music festival that owns Halloween.
