Awakenings ADE (Halfweg, Netherlands) 2026

Awakenings ADE 2026 runs from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 October 2026 at the SugarFactory in Halfweg, between Amsterdam and Haarlem. The techno promoter is hosting eight events in five days during Amsterdam Dance Event, with Adam Beyer, Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Joseph Capriati, Joris Voorn and Adriatique among the names on the official line-up.

What is Awakenings ADE?

Awakenings ADE is the series of indoor raves that Awakenings stages every October during Amsterdam Dance Event. Awakenings has organised techno events in the Netherlands since 1997, when its first night was held at the Gashouder in Amsterdam, and says it now draws more than 300,000 visitors a year across its events.

For 2026 the whole series takes place in one building. The SugarFactory is a former sugar factory that dates from 1863, and Awakenings used it for the first time at ADE 2025. The programme mixes all-night events that run from 23:00 to 07:00 with three daytime sessions, so it is possible to see two events in one day. For anyone planning a music festival trip around ADE, it is the largest block of techno in a single venue that week.

Tickets were still on sale for the ADE Opening Night, Friday Sessions and Adriatique All Night Long through the Awakenings ticket shop. Awakenings sends the e-tickets by email on Monday 19 October, and lockers at the SugarFactory can be booked in advance in the same shop.

How do you get to the SugarFactory?

The SugarFactory is at Kristalpromenade 7 in Halfweg, the address given in the official ADE programme. Halfweg sits on the railway line between Amsterdam and Haarlem. Doors close early: Awakenings does not let visitors in during the last two hours of an event, so for a night that ends at 07:00 the last entry is 05:00.
