About Liquid Club

Liquid Club is a two room club on Triq Ħal Għargħur in San Ġwann, in the north of Malta, and the island's best known underground venue for techno. The building first opened almost 50 years ago and was turned into Liquid Club in 1998, and it has played a big part in Malta's club culture since then. The main room has hosted more techno artists than any other club on the island, while the smaller Backroom is used for more intimate nights; both run on a VOID Acoustics sound system. Resident Advisor lists a capacity of about 950. Weekends are built around local promoters and DJs, with nights such as Revolver, Neolitika, Basstek, Spektrum, Vortex and Underground Room, alongside international guests.
