About The Foundry

The Foundry is a club and concert venue at 1425 Folsom Street, at the corner of 10th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. It occupies a light-industry warehouse built in 1936 in the Art Deco and Art Moderne style, with a streamlined facade, steel-sash windows, exposed trusses and a concrete floor. The venue is run by people from the teams behind The Faight in the Lower Haight and Same Same But Different Fest, and it is operated by Folsom Foundry Music LLC. The programme is mostly DJ nights: house and techno parties such as Hydefm with Acemo and Swami Sound, tech house, bass and hard dance nights, plus occasional concerts and comedy. A high-fidelity system hangs from the ceiling, and the dancefloor is phone-free under the club's Community Agreements.

Most nights are 21+, some are 18+. By entering you accept the Community Agreements: no harassment or discrimination, consent first, and phones stay in pockets on the dancefloor (photos are fine in the front room). Staff remove anyone who breaks the rules, without refund.
