About Monarch

Monarch is a nightclub and bar at 101 6th Street, on the corner of Mission and 6th Street in San Francisco's SoMa district, two blocks from the Moscone Center and the Union Square hotel area. The venue has two spaces: an art deco bar called the Emperor's Drawing Room and a downstairs club with a mirror ball over the dance floor. Most nights are run by local and touring promoters, and the autumn 2026 programme mixes house, tech house and techno, with guests such as Prosumer, Linska, Julian Fijma and Marsolo, with dubstep and bass nights and Space Cowboys parties. Club nights are 21+ and usually run from 9pm to 2am. Monarch also takes table reservations and hosts private events for up to 350 people.
