About Magazzini Generali

Magazzini Generali is a club and concert venue at Via Pietrasanta 16 in Milan's Ripamonti area. It opened in autumn 1995 in a row of early 1900s warehouses once used for workshops and goods storage for the nearby railway, and it turned 30 in 2025. From 2001 to 2005 it hosted the live concert broadcasts of Radio Due RAI, and in 2005 it won the MTV Clubbing award for best club. The 650 square metre ground floor holds the dancefloor, the main stage and the main bar, with a smaller raised floor and bar above, an outdoor area of about 300 square metres and a total capacity of 1,000. The programme mixes concerts with electronic one-nighters, such as The Blaze DJ set that opens the 2026/2027 season on 2 October, and a weekly Saturday party aimed at university students.
