Hypersonic Festival (Sydney, Australia) 2026

Hypersonic Festival Sydney is a one day multi genre electronic music festival taking place on Saturday, November 21, 2026 at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia. It runs alongside a Melbourne edition held the day before, on Friday, November 20, at Melbourne Showgrounds. Gates open at 12:00 PM and entry is for ages 18 and over.

The festival is promoted by Symbiotic, which published official aftermovies of the first Sydney and Melbourne editions in 2025. According to the ticketing page, the 2026 festival spans three stages with electronic dance music, trance, bass, techno and hardstyle. The main hypersonic stage is outdoors in Sydney, the hyperave stage focuses on heavy kicks and high tempo rave sounds, and the hyperspace stage moves from deeper and progressive grooves to melodic and bass music.

Headliners listed for the Sydney show include Armin van Buuren, Timmy Trumpet and Pendulum, with Joris Voorn, Maddix, Yotto, Nifra, Blake.08 and Act of Rage also on the bill, according to festival listings.

Tickets are sold through Moshtix. At the time of writing, a general admission second release is listed at 185 Australian dollars plus 9.95 dollars in fees, VIP tickets at 330 dollars plus fees, and a VIP upgrade at 160 dollars plus fees. VIP includes express entry, private toilets, a private bar and a VIP viewing platform at the main stage. The festival’s own domain was parked and not serving a site when this page was written, so the Moshtix event page is the main official source for practical details. Randwick is about 10 km from Sydney Airport.
