Dreamstate Australia (Sydney, Australia) 2027

Dreamstate comes to Sydney on 6 and 7 February 2027, Insomniac’s trance brand returning to Australia. Dreamstate launched in California in 2015 as a dedicated trance festival at a point when the genre had been pushed to the margins of the American festival circuit, and has since run editions across the United States, Mexico, Europe and Australia.

The Australian editions have been held in Sydney and Melbourne, with official aftermovies published for both 2026 dates. Ben Nicky, Blastoyz and Bryan Kearney have all played full sets at Australian Dreamstate events, all available in full, which gives a clear picture of where the programming sits.

The organisers describe it as the ultimate trance destination, and the production is scaled to that: Dreamstate builds a single large stage rather than spreading across a site. Tickets and the venue are published through Insomniac’s own channels. Sydney is served directly from across Asia, the Americas and Europe. Early February in Sydney is high summer, hot and humid. For an Australian trance music festival, Dreamstate is the biggest name.
