About Vivid LIVE
Vivid LIVE returns to the Sydney Opera House from 28 May to 19 June 2027, the music strand of Vivid Sydney. Three weeks of programming inside the building, running alongside the light installations that turn the sails and the harbour into the city’s annual spectacle.
Vivid Sydney is a festival of light, music, minds and food, and Vivid LIVE is the part the Opera House curates itself, which has historically meant artists who would not otherwise appear in a concert hall. Highlight films from past editions are published on the Opera House channel.
Programme and tickets are published through the Sydney Opera House site. The Opera House sits on Bennelong Point with Circular Quay station and the ferry terminals five minutes’ walk away, and Sydney Airport is 20 minutes by train. Late May and early June in Sydney is the start of winter, mild at around 18 degrees and usually dry. For an Australian music festival in a building like that, Vivid LIVE has no equivalent.
