Soundstorm (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) 2025

Under the desert skies of Riyadh, Soundstorm 2025 is preparing to return from December 11 to 13, transforming Banban into one of the world’s most ambitious open-air music festival grounds. Established as the flagship event of MDLBEAST, Soundstorm has grown into a global phenomenon, drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees each year with its monumental production and boundary-pushing performances. Known for breaking records with the tallest stage structures and the largest outdoor LED screens ever seen at a music festival, its scale and energy have set it apart not only in the Middle East but across the global electronic scene.

This year promises an even greater spectacle, as the multi-stage layout expands to host a diverse roster of international icons and regional stars. Previous editions brought unforgettable sets from legends such as David Guetta, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and Carl Cox alongside global superstars like Eminem, Travis Scott, and J Balvin, underlining the event’s unique mix of electronic powerhouses and crossover acts. For 2025, early anticipation suggests another genre-spanning lineup where house, techno, hip-hop, and pop collide, ensuring there is something for every corner of the crowd.

Beyond the music, Soundstorm is famed for its unmatched production values. Festival-goers can expect colossal stage designs with immersive visual installations, dazzling pyrotechnics, and state-of-the-art sound systems that bring a cinematic quality to each performance. The desert backdrop only intensifies the atmosphere, with the contrast of futuristic architecture and raw natural landscape creating an unforgettable setting.

Running from evening until the early hours of the morning, the festival offers more than just performances; it’s a marathon of culture, bringing together art, fashion, and creativity in a region that has rapidly become a hub for large-scale international entertainment. With its inclusive energy and international audience, Soundstorm is a meeting point of global music lovers, uniting first-time visitors with loyal returning fans who have witnessed the festival’s meteoric rise since its inception.

Soundstorm 2025 is shaping up to be not just a celebration of music, but a landmark experience that continues to redefine what a festival can achieve in scale, ambition, and cultural impact. For three nights in Riyadh, it will once again stand as a beacon of sound, light, and unity, confirming its place among the most important music gatherings in the world.
