About MDLBEAST Soundstorm
MDLBEAST Soundstorm returns to Banban outside Riyadh on 3 and 4 December 2026, the festival the organisers describe as the boldest in the region. Soundstorm has run every December since 2019 and has grown into an event measured in hundreds of thousands of attendees, which makes it the largest music festival in the Middle East by a wide margin.
The site at Banban in the desert north of Riyadh is turned into what MDLBEAST calls the City of Sound, with multiple large production stages and a bill drawn from the top of the international touring circuit alongside artists from across the Gulf and the wider Arab world. Full recordings and official recap films are published after each edition.
MDLBEAST operates as a wider music company rather than only a festival promoter, with a label, a radio arm and a year round events programme in Saudi Arabia. Tickets are sold through Nofomo. Riyadh is served directly from across Europe, Asia and Africa through King Khalid International, with Banban around 40 minutes north of the city centre by road. For a Middle Eastern music festival, nothing else is close in scale.
