Sawagi Festival (Higashiagatsuma (Gunma), Japan) 2026

Sawagi Festival returns to the Suteki Village campsite in Higashiagatsuma from 1pm on 23 October to 6pm on 25 October 2026, its eleventh year in the mountains of Gunma prefecture. The site sits in a valley ringed by peaks with the sunrise coming up over the horizon, and the format is three days of music, nature and camping across two stages.

The bill is drawn from the Japanese underground. Black Boboi and SOFT head a list that includes Compuma, DJ Kensei, DJ Sodeyama, DJ Kuri, Akira Arasawa, Herbalistek, Kurusu, Sunga, Erimiya, Adak7, Ree.K, Occa, Asuna, Kojiro of Re:birth Festival, Taichi Kawahira, Haruka Katagata, Shinsuke Goto, Tsutomu and the folk song collective Riyo Sanmyaku, mixing techno and house with live and experimental work.

Tickets run in categories through Zaiko. The early bird at 12,000 yen sold out, with Category 2 at 14,000 yen and Category 3 at 16,000, a U25 ticket at 10,000 yen for anyone aged 25 or under on the festival date and a door price of 20,000 yen if available. Parking is sold separately: 10,000 yen for a pass allowing re-entry between 8am and 5pm, or 3,000 yen for a fixed space with no re-entry. Higashiagatsuma is around two and a half hours from Tokyo. It is a Japanese mountain music festival in its second decade.
